Tax stimulus rebates 2008?? What does a disabled or senior citizen need to do to receive it?

Does a infirm chairman need to record a taxation lapse in sequence to get a taxation rebate? He customarily doesn’t record income taxation in a past, since he usually receives incapacity payments as a usually source of income.

Yes, the disabled person or senior citizen must file a 2007 federal income tax return in order to qualify for the rebate.

    According to the IRS:

You may qualify for a minimum payment of $300 ($600 if filing a joint return) if your tax return reflects $3,000 or more in qualifying income – which includes non-taxable Social Security retirement, Social Security disability or VA disability.

BUT YOU MUST FILE TO RECEIVE THE REBATE, even if you are not required to do so.

See the sample Form 1040A at the link below:

Alternatively, the IRS has announced an electronic free file option for people who have no legal requirement to file a tax return but must file a return this year in order to receive a 2008 economic stimulus payment. Click on this link to file for your rebate electronically:

If he paid income tax and did not make too much money, it will arrive in his mailbox. I made too much money and paid too much income taxes so will be receiving nothing. Such a deal!
